Our Voices Together
Formed by families who lost love ones on 9/11, this organization seeks to promote citizen diplomacy and global volunteerism as a peaceful answer to terrorism. JWA successfully led the board and staff through a double merger with Americans for Informed Democracy and Global Giving. 

Virginia Network of Nonprofit Organizations (VANNO)
In September of 2008 Walker managed the Building Bridges Conference in the Tri-Cities region for VANNO.  This second conference featured a Virginia U.S. Senate candidates’ forum, community leaders roundtable, and keynote speaker Robert Egger of the V3 Project.

Virginia Interfaith Center for Public Policy
JWA completed a feasibility study for The Center’s $1.5mm major donor campaign in the fall of 2008.

Historic Christ Church Foundation
JWA developed grant templates for the capital campaign for this historic Northern Neck of Virginia church and museum.  Our templates resulted in the receipt of a number of successful historic preservation and expansion grant awards.  

Dream Catchers at the Cori Sikich Therapeutic Riding Center
Dream Catchers recently completed a significant capital campaign and is now ready to focus on organizational capacity building.  Teaming with MBM Marketing, JWA is at work on a Strategic Fundraising and Marketing Plan that will create a sustainability model and move the organization to the next level. 

American Red Cross – Greater Richmond Chapter
JWA facilitated their May Fundraising Breakfast which is based on the nationally acclaimed Benevon (Raising More Money) model.  The event raised in excess of $300,000.

Children, Inc.
JWA helped CI to evaluate their planned giving and major donor development potential, developed a detailed three year fundraising plan, assisted with organizational management and continues to coach development and operations leadership.  JWA is currently working with the Board to establish a strong Board Development Committee and process. 

Richmond Behavioral Health Authority
JWA assisted RBHA in the beginning steps of establishing a 501(c)(3) organization to seek private funding for Richmond’s mental health authority.  Case studies were conducted, legal documents coordinated with legal council, and a three year strategic plan developed.  Branding, Board development and committee structures were developed.  A Case for Support was prepared, budget adopted and Executive Director job description written. 

Alliance to Conserve Old Richmond Neighborhoods A.C.O.R.N.
On the eve of ACORN’s tenth anniversary JWA led this vital Richmond neighborhood strengthening group through a Strategic Revisioning process.
